Yellapetty is a charming agricultural village located on the Munnar to Vattawada route in Idukki district. It is located at a distance of about 17 km from Munnar. Yellapetty is one of the largest vegetable growing areas in Kerala.
Yellapetty is a rustic village with lots of farm fields and small houses bordered by fences. The name has two or three shops. Many crops like carrot, cabbage, tomato and strawberry are cultivated here. We can get all these at a very low price from here.
Vattavada can be reached by traveling 20 km from Yellapetti. The route also includes Mattupetti Dam, Echo Point and Kundala Lake. Vattavada goers can enjoy the view down from the top of the road. There you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and buy snacks from nearby shops.
